Amazon hires a new record-breaking number of seasonal staff for the Black Friday and Holiday shopping season. The online store giant announced to hire 75, 000 seasonal workers to be able to meet the increased customer need. Last year Amazon hired 80,000 seasonal workers. The amount increased by 20,000 this year.
The Jeff Bezos led company has already appointed over 25, 000 regularly employees since August. Amazon has more than 90,000 full-time employees across it is more than 50 fulfillment locations and 20 sortation locations in the United States.
Amazon has recently shown with Prime Moment in July that there is just one single direction the Black Friday 2015 sales volume will go -- up.
"We’ve hired greater than 25, 000 full-time contacts across the U. S. recently and we’re looking forward to including 100,000 seasonal staff for the upcoming holiday season. Next last year’s holiday season, thousands of seasonal staff found regular, full-time roles with Amazon online marketplace. We’re excited to grow our staff by finding great expertise through our seasonal selecting efforts in addition to creating brand new full-time jobs that offer complete benefits starting on the first day of lots of expensive days to come, " said Mike Roth, Amazon’s vice president of United states operations.
